My commitment: Central Ward 1. I am strongly committed to completing the Kingston missing link in the Bay trail with a concrete shared path on the back-of-kerb along Beach Road from Charman Road to Mordialloc Creek. (This has been blocked in this council term by a council majority including the other two ward concillors who want to keep the beach promenade as the only bike path along Beach Road through Mentone and Mordialloc.) 2. I am strongly committed to a shared trail (bikes, peds, horses) along the Chain of Parks trail to be constructed in Kingston's Green Wedge, linking Karkarook to Braeside Parks. 3. I was not aware there were gaps in the Station Road bike path (not my ward) and would support closing them; 4. Also not aware Kingston was below average in expenditure on bike paths and will support fixing this (I think the above two projects should do that!!) 5. Strongly support measures to encourage kids to ride bikes to school 6. Strongly support improving bike access and parkiteer facilities to stations. 7. Points 1 & 2 are in my election flier.
