My commitment: If re-elected I'll consider building the relationship between cyclists and the council. The need for more bicycle racks that are also pedestrian friendly so they don't obstruct the footpath and don't affect access for the elderly and disabled. The improvement of existing bike tracks and lanes and the introduction of bike trails allow train lines and bike lanes down Williams Rd and many other roads throughout the community. Chapel Streets bike lane is substandard and needs to be updated for the benefit of the cyclists and shop owners.
