My commitment: I am in support of some of the proposed ideas that have been mentioned in the Ride2School Program. I believe the key to effecting change is to alter ones behaviour or attitude towards adopting an alternative mode of travel and developing awareness of the benefits of a healthier lifestyle. Walking to school/work, riding your bike instead of taking the car and or utilising the transport network create positive outcomes in the long term. It is important to improve bicycle lanes along Chapel St. Introduce more bike tracks along key roads and adjacent train lines. I am willing to work towards improving conditions for cyclists and will eagerly support programs that promote the awareness of a healthier lifestyle. Working together for an effective, safe and beneficial result for all in the community.
