My commitment: I used to ride my bicycle to school. Bicycling was an acceptable part of life at the time. However with all the new developments we forgot our basics. Everything has to be automatic and increasingly even driving a car is becoming more driver-less. As a health professional, I am observing an increase in health complications such as diabetes and high blood pressure. These disorders are accentuated with sedentary lifestyles and sloth. I will strongly advocate for better bicycle trails in new and old precincts. Initiatives that encourage kids to take on cycling to schools etc must be encouraged and could be supported by Councils. I am an independent. I am driven to bring common sense back into Council decision making. I stand by what is right for a healthy society.
