I live in city/suburb: Box Hill

My commitment: If elected as an Elgar Ward Councillor I will strongly support greater expenditure on bike related infrastructure. I am a long term BV member and would love to see more people cycling. An increase in bicycle commuting is of benefit to all of us through decreased pollution and congestion and an increase in riders’ health. Being a resident of central Box Hill, who loves to get out on my bike with my family I am particularly aware of the lack of a safe East-West cycle route through central Whitehorse and would strongly support the Box Hill Ringwood Rail trail. It would also be invaluable in facilitating the fabulous Ride2School program as so many education institutions are within easy striking distance of it.
