I live in city/suburb: Burwood
My commitment: The Ringwood to Notting Hill Pipe Track should be built to provide a safe alternative to riding on Springvale Road or Blackburn Road. It should extend to Monash University to encourage more students and staff to ride. I ride to work along part of Highbury Road so I am keen to have on-road lanes free of parked cars during peak hour. In regards to Hawthorn Road (Blackburn Rd to Mahoneys Rd), Whitehorse council should continue on-road lanes on Hawthorn Rd to extend the local cycling network. This could also link up to Highbury Road via Blackburn Road and in conjunction with the other new sections provide links to Monash University, Deakin University and the City.
