I live in city/suburb: Berwick
My commitment: There are 18 candidates standing for 2 seats in Edrington ward and I have reviewed the statements of all 17 other candidates and noted that not 1 other candate other than myself has recognised the importance of raising the issue of cyclists needs. I have stated that council should engage activlely with cycling groups by sponsoring bike-a-thons on the extensive bike trails that council has constructed. I see a great opportunity for council to activately promote cycling in this municipality and to use the occasion to emphasise road safety.
