I live in city/suburb: Warrnambool
My commitment: As part of the new City Centre Structure Plan considerations I support a designated North-South link for cyclists with the possibility of a protected lane through a key part of the CBD. Defined East-West routes through the CBD are also identified and supported. I also support the possibility of a dedicated off road bicycle route from Deakin University into the CBD, but access to land to provide a continuous route will need to be overcome. The Warrnambool to Port Fairy Rail Trail has also allowed linked-up access for the communities of Dennington, Merrivale and South Warrnambool to the foreshore and CBD precincts. Finally, I have been a strong advocate for the Warrnambool Mountain Bike Club to continue its access to the Thunderpoint Reserve circuit. (Authorised by Michael Neoh, 29 Banyan St, Warrnambool)
