My commitment: I would like to make Darebin even more cycling friendly for recreational and commuting cyclists. If elected, I will focus on: 1. Improving the safety of on-road bike paths by addressing the lack of continuity of bike paths at intersections and marking these paths green as happens in some other municipalities. 2. Increasing the availability of secure bicycle parking at commercial and public transport hubs. 3. Investigating ways to increase the number of children cycling to school. 4. Consulting with the cycling community about infrastructure projects likely to impact on cyclists. I am a recreational and part-time commuting cyclist.
