My commitment: I am the author of the Bike and Skater Law Chapter in the Law Handbook. See: http://www.lawhandbook.org.au/handbook/ch10s03.php I love cycling and I want to see more folks out and about on bikes. For years Stonnington has underfunded bike infrastructure but with Greens on the Council, this will change. ChadVegas is very bike unfriendly - putting Greens on council will see significant encouragement/pressure placed on the owners of this behemoth for a complete environmental overhaul, including bike paths in (eg, from Scotchman's Ck trail across Warrigal Road) and LOTS more bike parking. I also want more and safer bike paths throughout Stonnington, especially along Chapel St (a scary place to ride at the best of times) and more bike parking along strip shopping areas and all new developments.
