Candidate for Monash (VIC)

Party: Independent

I live in city/suburb: Mulgrave

My commitment: I will give thumbs up for such value adding program! Thinking aloud, the “how to do” will be integrated in the strategies for realising my campaign goals (see my website’s page – tentative action plans). Notably, reviewing budgets and canvassing for zero based budgeting to free up money for services & programs that will give the community most value add. The reallocation of budget spends will include improving city planning gaps, especially open space and recreation amenities. I live in Notting Hill and will definitely supporting connecting my neighbourhood to bicycle networks. Programs like those proposed by Bicycle Network Victoria will be highly considered because of the multiple benefits they bring to not just residents of Monash, but also university students and workforce communities. These programs will also contribute to more integrated development of open space and recreation amenities, which are very lacking in Monash. If and when elected, I will work with Bicycle Network Victoria to build a strong business case, including a long term implementation plan for delivering the desired services in phases, in order to increase chances of financial and in-kind support from various government agencies and corporations, and innovate some modern and creative fundraising tools. Vote me (Mulgrave Ward) and secure my contribution to increasing your chance of realising your programs.
