My commitment: As a cyclist myself, albeit occasionally, I truly believe that we have reached a point whereby we, as a community need to get behind activities that not only benefit the health of the community, but the environment also. Cycling is one such activity. Without question, current infrastructure needs to be improved to accommodate the increasing desire to cycle to work and cycle as a sport. From a social, health and economic perspective, supporting better infrastructure for cyclic makes sense, and if elected I will be committed to ensuring that cyclists get the attention and backing they deserve.
