My commitment: Congratulations, BV, on a great idea. The Greens (and I) are 100% supportive of safety improvements and increased accessibility to bike paths and bike lanes on roads. The Diamond Creek trail to Hurstbridge needs to be completed quickly (it has been in the pipe-line for too long) and the Heidelberg-Kinglake road between Diamond Creek and Kinglake, where many recreational cyclists ride, must be improved to give safety to cyclists by smoothing shoulders and reducing the speed limits in some areas.
